Startup profile researcher — sourced company profiles from the public record

What you get

An agent and skill that turns the sources you collected about a fashion-tech startup — its own pages, press, funding announcements, accelerator pages, filings — into a company profile where every fact has a source line and says who is speaking: the company, a third party, or your inference. Nothing is filled without a source (TBC instead), no one is contacted, and the model's own memory of the company is off limits. Ships the profile template, a fictional worked example and prompts to build, update, compare and gap-check profiles. Runs in Claude Code (as a sub-agent), Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini.

Quick start

1. Unzip and open README.md.
2. Claude Code: copy platforms/claude-code/.claude/ into your project, put your saved sources in sources/<company>/ and ask for the profile. Claude: Settings → Capabilities → Skills → upload SKILL.md. ChatGPT: paste platforms/chatgpt-instructions.md into a Project. Gemini: paste platforms/gemini-gem.md into a Gem.
3. Paste prompt 1 from PROMPTS.md with your collected sources (or attach them).

Check: every fact line has a source number that exists in the Sources list; every source is cited at least once; every line has exactly one tag (company / reported / inference); no number appears without a source that states it; company claims are attributed ("the company says ...") and not written as fact; amounts and currencies match the announcement wording; dates are not sharper than the source; names of people appear only as a source names them, with the role the source gives; every TBC has a Could not verify line. Then list findings as "line -> problem -> fix", most damaging first, and finish with a verdict: DRAFT, READY FOR REVIEW, or DO NOT PUBLISH, with the three things that would move it up. Do not rewrite the profile unless I ask.
